Fundraising

The Triangle Lake PTA raises funds for projects that directly support your child's school. You can review our budget (PDF) to see how raised funds are spent. We can now accept direct donations via PayPal securely and you don't even need a PayPal account! PayPal lets you send a donation via credit card as well. Just use the "Donate" button at the top of this page.

Fund Raising Events

The PTA is working on two major fundraisers that raise the majority of the money we need for projects at your child's school. We'll announce details on this page, in the newsletter, and in a take-home flyer.

Attractions Coupon Books

The Attractions Coupon Book is an inexpensive way to save hundreds of dollars by patronizing your local restaurants and retail establishments - many are BOGO (buy one get one free), perfect for date night or a night out with the family. You also get cash off from many local retailers - see the link for more details.

Order Spirit Wear

Show support for school spirit and support your PTA, which in turn offers programs that directly benefit your child's school. Currently limited quantities are available from last year as we prepare to offer new designs for 2010. See Mary Beth Williams for details, or click here to see the order form.

Donations & “Trash to Treasure”

Direct contributions via check can be mailed to the school, payable to Triangle Lake PTA or sent to school with your child. Also see the DONATE button at the top of this page. Any amount is appreciated and will  go directly to our efforts for your school. You can also help at no cost to you by collecting the following materials which we can redeem for the school.

• Boxtops4Education Clip box tops from General Mills products
• Campbell's Labels for Education Collect barcodes (UPC labels only) from Campbell's products
• Harris-Teeter Milk Caps (PDF) Collect caps from Harris Teeter or Hunter's Farm milk jugs.
• Used Inkjet cartridges
• Used (but functional) cellphones. (Include battery/charger if available.)

Please trim clean collected labels and boxtops and make a note of submission requirements (e.g. Campbell's requires the UPC barcode). It helps to collect each type of "trash to treasure" in a separate zipper baggie to send with your child when you feel you have sufficient quantities. There's a drop box near the school's front entrance for these too.

Loyalty & Reward Cards

Several participating area retailers make direct contribution to your PTA if you link your loyalty/reward card to Triangle Lake or remember to use a special number when purchasing products at the store or online.

Harris-Teeter

It's time to re-link your Harris Teeter VIC card with Triangle Lake so that we receive a percentage of every purchase you make - and it costs you nothing! You can re-link at the checkout on your next visit, over the telephone toll-free (800) 432-6111, or visit TIE (Together In Education) online. Our school's code is 4357. Remember to update your TIE link every August 1!

Food Lion

You can also sign up with Food Lion's Shop and Share program. Food Lion donates a portion of every purchase made with your MVP card to our school - it can't be easier than that, and it's at no cost to you. Enter our school name at the Register MVP Card link and you're all set.

Office Depot

At Office Depot you simply remember to give the following code whenever you checkout at the store or make an online purchase and we'll receive five percent credit to use for school supplies, at no cost to you.
